Description
Three compact 368-page books form the "RHS Planting Combinations Boxset", containing combinations of plants chosen especially for spring, summer, autumn or winter gardening. Each title features at least 300 great combinations and suggestions for many alternative pairings. This list of alternative plant partners allows you to create thousands of the most imaginative and visually effective combinations possible. With a practical introduction, analysis of what makes a successful combination, the author goes on to show how to recreate combinations shown and how to invent new pairings. Plants are grouped by chapter into bulbs, climbers, perennials, shrubs, trees, roses and annuals. This collection is the reference source for those who wish to combine plants according to season, color, shape, texture or form in ever corner of their garden.
