This paperback second edition of Basewood reincorporates the covers, introductions, letters columns and thank you pages from its initial serialization in Alec Longstreth's long-running minicomic, Phase 7. There are also 16 new pages of Basewood "fan art" drawings by various cartoonists. Basewood tells the story of a young man who wakes up in a mysterious forest with no memory of how he got there. As he discovers more about his forgotten past, he meets an old hermit who lives in a treehouse with his loyal dog, a young woman who fights for what she believes in and a giant wolf-dragon.
