Introduction to Linear and Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis
Description
This book is a comprehensive and in-depth work that combines the author's years of teaching, research and software development experience in computational solid mechanics. It covers the main basic knowledge and theories of computational solid mechanics, and also has certain practicality and innovation. The book is divided into eight chapters: general problems and nonlinearity in solid mechanics; Galerkin approximation: irreducible form and mixed form; finite element analysis of trusses and beams; finite element analysis of two-dimensional and three-dimensional solids; finite element analysis of plates and solid shells; Cartesian tensors; finite element analysis of elastoplastic problems; finite element analysis of geometric nonlinear problems. This book can be used as a textbook for postgraduate students majoring in computational solid mechanics and related fields in colleges and universities, and also as a reference book for scholars and engineering technicians in the field of computational solid mechanics and related fields.
