What I have found in the book has far exceeded my best expectations ... I therefore vividly recommend the book for those like myself who are interested in plurilingual education in the first stages of schooling. * Education 3-13 * Little and Kirwan make alive the processes through which children construct knowledge and develop literacy and learner autonomy in a school which includes the languages of school, as well as the many home languages of the increasing number of immigrant students.
