Description
Yaron Lischinsky, an Israeli embassy staff member with German roots, was shot dead at the age of only 30 on May 21, 2025, together with his fiancée, Sarah Milgrim, by an antisemitic terrorist in front of the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. The death of the young couple sparked outrage around the world. Although he grew up in Germany, Yaron's life and work were deeply connected to Israel and the Israeli society.
In memory of Yaron, this illustrated book brings together his photographic talent with personal essays by friends, colleagues, mentors, and people whose lives were touched by Yaron.
The combination of images of places where he lived and worked-such as Washington, D.C. and Jerusalem-with personal reflections illuminates character, values, and perspective on the world by a gifted diplomat.
