Performance Recording of Animals

These proceedings of the International Committee for Animal Recording (ICAR) reflect the results of ongoing developments in respect of performance recording, including identification. A feature of the 1998 ICAR session were the reports addressing the important issues of the accuracy of the animal records and animal evaluations. Grouped loosely under the headings of computing, milk traits, cattle breeding and general, short papers provide a detailed insight into developments which are affecting the direction of animal recording in member countries.
