Mobile Edge Computing (MEC)

This book will cover the topic of Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) , a new technology for adding general purpose compute and storage capabilities into mobile networks, close to where end users connect. MEC augments today's centralized cloud by highly distributed "cloudlets", which enable extremely low latency communications, process vast amounts of sensor data at the point of capture, and allow for highly secure and resilient applications.
