On Morning Wings

Reeve Lindbergh is the author of many picture books for children, including The Circle of Days, Nobody Owns the Sky, What Is the Sun? and In Every Tiny Grain of Sand. She says, "I've always loved Psalm 139 because it conveys the sense that we're all held in the embrace of God and the universe. I wanted to emphasize the universality of the spirit of this book." She lives in Vermont, USA. Holly Meade is the author and illustrator of many acclaimed books for children, including Hush! A Thai Lullaby by Minfong Ho, a Caldecott Honor Book. In order to capture the spirit of this adaptation of Psalm 139, Holly Meade says she drew on the sense of wonder she felt as a child when in the presence of something bigger and grander than herself.
