Attie Lime's poetry has been widely published online and in print magazines and anthologies. Her poems have been called joyful, witty, powerful and exuberant, with touchable themes. Attie's poems have been included in the Reading Gladiators book club for schools, on a creative arts festival syllabus and used to teach English as a foreign language. She visits schools and festivals to share her love of words and particularly enjoys helping children to unlock their wonderful imaginations. Attie spent much of her childhood in Northumberland daydreaming in fields, which she still enjoys when she has time. Her three sons keep her busy and often inspire poems. Poems on Toast is Attie's third solo collection of poetry for children.
