Roadblocks to God

Knowing God should make us joyful. He loves us perfectly because He is our Father. He created us and is always mindful of us. This includes everyone. We need never doubt His promises to us or the way he cares for us. These are the natural actions of a loving father. Yet many are not convinced. They hesistate to approach Him, having heard far too many things that give them pause. These are roadblocks to God, and we all know what roadblocks do. They make it more difficult to reach our destination. This book is concerned with removing these roadblocks, or at least nudging them out of the way. The goal of doing so is to help you reach a precious destination, that of knowing God and loving Him as He loves you. Interestingly, many of the roadblocks have been put in place by various denominations of the Christian church in the form of church doctrines. A doctrine in simply a teaching, in this case about God. This book examines many of them, knowing some will not be a roadblock to certain readers. Others will be formidable.
