I have always had a passion for art and illustrations, but it wasn't until I became a stay-at-home mom from my elementary teaching career that I decided that I would try to use that passion to help support my family while home with my babies. I was not an art teacher, nor did I major in anything art related, but it was always something that I loved to do in my spare time. I decided to start an Etsy shop in the spring of 2014 selling what I found to be an intriguing and unique type of art - chalkboard art. I prayed long and hard before finally deciding to embark on this journey and truly felt like God was nudging my heart in this direction. Since that time, nothing has been the same, and the response from everyone has been unbelievable. I am so incredibly grateful for each and every door that God opens and ultimately hope to glorify Him with every opportunity that I'm given. I currently live in Jessup, MD with my husband John, and our two children Skylar and Asher. - Shannon Roberts
