His research focuses on assessment technologies of renewable energy grid integration, modelling and validation of wind and PV units and power plants, simulation of fault ride through transient behavior of wind and PV power plants. He has co-authored China Electric Power Encyclopedia(Third Edition): Renewable Energy Generation Volume and participated in translating the book Renewable Energy and the Grid.
