Professor Laichang Zhang is the Program Leader-Mechanical Engineering and Head of Centre for Advanced Materials and Manufacturing at Edith Cowan University (ECU), Australia. After receiving his PhD at the Institute of Metal Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences, he worked at The University of Western Australia, University of Wollongong, Australia, IFW Dresden and Technical University Darmstadt, both Germany, before joining ECU. His research interests include additive manufacturing, metallic biomaterials, lightweight alloys & structures and high-strength materials, and he is one of the leading researchers in metallic materials (especially titanium alloys).
Dr Yuhua Li is an Associate Professor in the College of Mechanical Engineering at Xi'an University of Science and Technology, China. After receiving her PhD at South China University of Technology, Dr Li has worked at Xi'an University of Science and Technology. Her research interests include powder metallurgy, high-strength titanium alloys, porous alloys & structures, metallic biomaterials with high expertise in processing, microstructure and performance.
