Lucy's sent to Spain to stay with her aunt in the hope that it will help her get over her terrible riding accident, which left her in a coma for weeks. Her mum hopes the sunshine, fresh air and simple rural life will help Lucy forget the trauma of losing her beloved horse. And for a while, it seems to work, especially with the distraction of a gorgeous young Spanish aristocrat, who seems to want to befriend her. But Lucy can't shake off the creepy feeling that's dogged her since she arrived at the belltower her aunt calls home.
