Born in New Orleans, Catherine Ledner grew up in a house full of dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish and turtles which led to her life-long love of animals. After earning BFAs from New York University and Pasadena's Art Center College of Design, she embarked on a career in photography and her work has appeared in numerous publications including Travel + Leisure, Dwell and the New York Times Magazine.
