The WWF Atlas of the Environment

This atlas has been updated to bring the most state-of-the-art information on all those environmental issues that one reads about in the newspaper headlines: the state of the ozone layer and the greenhouse effect, the destruction of the rainforests and the tropical timber trade, urban air pollution; acid rain, population densities, nuclear energy, whaling, pollution of the seas, the Arctic and Antartica, as well as the status of many of the endangered species. It explains all these issues, making it clear what is being done and what still needs to be done.
