She Did Right-Now-She Does Write

What would you do if you were raped and became pregnant? Your mother holds a gun to your face in an effort to force you to have an abortion. Would you let the thorns of hurt destroy you? Or would you let your life smell like the sweetest rose in your garden? The choice is yours! Some of our hardest choices, if handled with grace will make us into a person of courage and strength, just as it does in my story. So come into my garden and smell the roses with me and know that the bleeding from the thorns will stop and you will heal. Patricia Lawrence is an 82-year-old mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was married for 37 years before her husband passed away in 1995. Since becoming a widow, she began learning new skills. In 2000 she learned to use a computer and did some computer artwork. She writes poetry and short stories. She was a public speaker for Christian Women's Clubs for nine years now walks over one hundred miles a month. After two heart attacks and now losing her vision, she is not willing to give up.
