A Dictionary of Epidemiology

The first dictionary of epidemiology to be published, the first edition of this book quickly proved popular among students, epidemiologists, and health professionals. Sponsored by the International Epidemiological Association, it achieved worldwide circulation. Over 100 experts from 25 countries have assisted in this thorough revision. The second edition has over 250 new entries and a further 550 rewritten or revised entries. All the definitions have been carefully reviewed by the international panel of advisors.
