Persistent Rumours

This novel tells the story of a man whose early loss of his mother has distorted every relationship in his life. In an attempt to unlock the secret of the past, the man travels to the Andaman Islands seeking traces of his mother. The author has previously been shortlisted for the Hawthornden prize.
