Description
Employee Reward Structures is a practical UK guide written by a employee compensation practitioner for accountants, lawyers and other advisers to unquoted businesses. UK tax law in this area is in a period of substantial change. More than ever, this area is a minefield for the practitioner who does not deal with it regularly. The author recognizes that clients can be presented with different issues: designing a package for a new hire; introducing a new "all-employee" benefit plan; determining the tax effects of an existing plan. The book provides different points of entry for which the user can seek out relevant sections. The CD-ROM version has been written to make full use of the benefits of hypertext. Thorough cross-referencing with internal hyperlinks makes it easy to locate the answer to the client's problem. Flowcharts and checklists enable the user to analyze a client's existing plan, or determine what sort of new plan might be suitable for the client. Every proposition is supported by authority. The glossary defines key terms which are then used in a consistent manner throughout the book. Clicking on any key term in the CD-ROM version will immediately bring up the definition of that term.
