Sue lives in London with her husband and two daughters. Before turning her hand to writing, she worked in TV as a Production Manager and achieved a degree in Media Studies at the University of East London. Sue grew up in Clacton on the coast of Essex and spent much of her childhood in or beside the sea, playing with her three cats, or being tormented by her two older brothers. Sue has always enjoyed writing and is pleased to have won a few competitions over the years. Carlo Beranek is a freelance illustrator based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. His work is bold, bright and colourful, and often invested with strong messages that carry forward Carlo's belief in art's ability not only to entertain but also to educate and inspire. If Carlo weren't an illustrator he would have been a chef. He loves reading, listening to music, going to the cinema, and would jump at the chance to move to a big city like London or New York and adopt a dog.
