Pipefitting Practices

This is a solid reference book for plumbers and welders who need more information on pipe "fitting" (vs. "bending"); contains an excellent section on "rigging" and valuable welding applications. The unique 8-1/2" X 11" format makes effective use of a lot of company-supplied, "real-world" drawings, drafting art, photos, and tables. Unlike in other books of its kind the tables and drawings do not spill over multiple pages, making it easier for the user to understand what is illustrated. Written with the "academic" market in mind as well, it's a perfect fit for a course the author taught on piping and pipe fitting in a drafting lab at a high-end community college.
