Description
The Ministry of Communion offers practical advice and vital theology for eucharistic ministers. Updated with the latest liturgical laws and norms, (including the use of Holy Communion and Worship of the Eucharistic Mystery outside Mass), and with an expanded section on leading Communion services, this book is an excellent guide for both those who serve God's people and those who help them prepare for the ministry.
Reviews / Votes
Two things desired in a new edition of a well-used book are new materials to keep the content responsive to the present circumstances and the retention of original materials which continue to be important to the value of the text. Father Michael Kwatera has accomplished both of these tasks in the third edition of The Ministry of Communion. The reader will find new references, e.g. to the new General Instruction, and the updating and clarification of some terminology. For extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion Fr. Michael continues to offer both practical advice and a beautifully expressed spirituality for their ministry. Those entrusted with the formation of these ministers will discover seeds for the development of fruitful training sessions and spiritual reflection opportunities.Bea Callery, Director, Office of Lay Ministry, Diocese of RaleighMore details
