Description
The purpose of this book is to focus about processes involved in designing metal matrix composite, The microstructures, mechanical properties of silicon carbide (SiC) as a reinforced aluminum 6063 (Al 6063) matrix composites (AMCs). AMCs of varying SiC content (5wt. %) were prepared by stir casting process. Microstructures, Rockwell hardness test, tensile strength and Impact (Izod) Test performance of the prepared composites were analyzed.
