Reliability Assessment of Flow Networks and Industrial Systems

Dr. Amit kumar is working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Applied Sciences, Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune campus, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Maharashtra, India. He has done his Bachelors and Master's form Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, India, in 2006 and 2009 respectively. In 2016, he received his Doctorate in Applied mathematics (Reliability theory). He published 65+ research papers in various esteemed (Scopus, WOS etc.) international journals. He is a reviewer/editorial board member in many international journals. His fields of research are, Reliability theory, Fuzzy Reliability, Operations Research, and System Engineering. Dr Majid Forghani-elahabad is an Assistant professor of Applied Mathematics at the Federal University of ABC. He received his B.Sc. and M.S. degrees in Applied Mathematics in 2005 and 2008, respectively, and his Ph.D. degree in Operations Research in 2014. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Sao Paulo and the Federal University of ABC in Brazil, and a lecturer at the Sharif University of Technology and several other universities in Iran. He is an Editorial member of four international journals. He has been a reviewer of more than twenty international journals, including Reliability Engineering & System Safety, Computers & Industrial Engineering, and Expert Systems with Applications. He is currently working on system reliability, network optimization, and optical networks.

Prof. Mangey Ram is Professor at Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), Dehradun, India. He is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Mathematical, Engineering, and Management Sciences; Journal of Reliability and Statistical Studies; Journal of Graphic Era University; Series Editor of six book series with Elsevier, CRC Press-A Taylor and Frances Group, Walter De Gruyter Publisher Germany, River Publisher and Guest Editor and Associate Editor for various journals. His fields of research are reliability theory and applied mathematics. He is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Mathematical, Engineering, and Management Sciences; Journal of Reliability and Statistical Studies; Journal of Graphic Era University; Series Editor of six book series with Elsevier, CRC Press-A Taylor and Frances Group, Walter De Gruyter Publisher Germany, River Publisher and Guest Editor and Associate Editor for various journals.

His fields of research are reliability theory and applied mathematics.

Prof. Ram is a Senior Member of the IEEE, Senior Life Member of the Operational Research Society of India, the Society for Reliability Engineering, Quality and Operations Management in India, the Indian Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics. He is a member of the organizing committee of several international and national conferences, seminars, and workshops. He was conferred the "Young Scientist Award? by the Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology, Dehradun, in 2009, and given the "Best Faculty Award? in 2011; "Research Excellence Award? in 2015; and "Outstanding Researcher Award? in 2018 for his significant contributions in academics and research at Graphic Era (deemed to be University), Dehradun, India. Most recently, he received the "Excellence in Research of the Year-2021 Award? from the Honourable Chief Minister of the Uttarakhand State, India.
