Description
Since centuries, a major part of Indian population has been fighting against the unwanted system i.e., Casteism. There have been also various reforms and movements against caste, untouchability, and Dalit atrocities in pre-post British period. Among all, the new constitution drafted by the Ambedkar can be treated a revolutionary legal document to dismantle all kind of atrocities and discriminations against any section of the Indian society. The responsibility of implementing the document clearly lies with the state and its machineries especially the future people. And the practices cover every attempt made by him or his successors to implement his idea of social democracy. It covers the different constitutional, legal and administrative arrangements, and amendments of the Indian constitution for achieving the aforesaid goal.
