Description
Many dental professionals consider complete dentures a second-rate solution to edentulism, promoting dental implants as the gold standard for replacing missing teeth. However, many patients cannot afford dental implants or want a simpler, less invasive solution, so knowledge of how to design and fabricate complete dentures is still necessary in everyday practice. The digital revolution in dentistry has opened doors for precise planning and execution of digital denture fabrication, and this book reflects the true power of digital complete dentures. From digital data acquisition to preprosthetic considerations, denture materials and 3D printing, and workflows galore, this book details the protocols you'll need to fabricate complete dentures that fit, function, and truly change the life of your patient. By harnessing the technology and digital tools available today, you can make your patient's tomorrow so much brighter.
