The following volume is the outcome of the 9th International Conference on Translation Studies, organised in 2025 in Pobierowo, Poland, by the University of the National Education Commission in Kraków and the University of Szczecin. At the conference, translation scholars and practitioners from Poland, Germany, and the Czech Republic presented and discussed current interdisciplinary trends in Translation Studies. The volume includes articles devoted to literary and specialist translation, covering a wide range of subjects and languages, and serves as inspiration for future research in the Humanities.

Univ.-Prof. Dr. habil. Artur Dariusz Kubacki, Germanist und Übersetzer, ist seit 2014 Leiter des Lehrstuhls für Deutsche Sprachwissenschaft an der Universität der Kommission für Nationale Bildung Kraków, Polen. Seine Forschungsthemen sind Fachübersetzen/Fachdolmetschen und seine Didaktik unter besonderer Berücksichtigung der Übersetzung von Terminologie auf dem Gebiet Recht und Wirtschaft.
Dr Alina Szwajczuk is a scholar of English studies, a sworn translator and interpreter of English, and a lecturer at the Institute of Linguistics of the University of Szczecin, Poland.
