Liana Krissoff is the home cook's champion . . . and Slow Cook Modern is an essential book for busy home cooks wanting to make the most of their time and ingredients. With new and inspiring recipes, make-ahead pairings to go with each dish, and brilliant tips throughout to help integrate dinner prep into busy days, this book makes good on the promise of what a slow cooker can mean for the home cook: ease, affordability, and, above all, flavor. * Alana Chernila, author of The Homemade Kitchen * As a relative novice to the world of slow cookers, I am deeply grateful to have in this book not just a helpful guide for using them in a way that makes sense for my busy, working-mother life, but also an adventurous and appetizing medley of dishes and sides from many corners of the world that Liana has, as always, so masterfully assembled. This truly is the way we want to eat today. * Luisa Weiss, author of Classic German Baking *More details
