Robin McGibbon first met Charles Kray in 1975 when, as managing director of Everest Books, he published the first edition of Kray's autobiography. Since then, he has worked as a sub-editor on the `Daily Express' and written and co-written thirteen books, including a biography of Simply Red singer Mick Hucknall, and the autobiogaphy of Christopher Lambrianou, `Escape from Kray Madness'.
McGibbon lives in Kent with his second wife, Sue.
