We loved this book. Pirates, adventure on the high seas, rescues........The main characters are relatable, brave and caring (even the grumpy pirate). There is tension and excitement but only mildly scary. She moved from the UK to the Netherlands in 2003 and now lives in a very tall, thin house on a canal in the centre of Amsterdam.
