Mental Maths: Year R

This is a brand new strand of our bestselling series 'Developing Numeracy'. There is one book of photocopiable Mental Maths activities for each year of primary school. The books develop pupils' mental calculation strategies through oral and mental maths activities, as required by the National Numeracy Strategy. OFSTED has reported that Mental Maths is still an area of weakness and many schools find their SATs scores are let down by pupils not achieving the required standard in the national Mental Maths test at the end of Key Stage 2.
