Web Collaboration for Intercultural Language Learning

A key teaching aim of today's language classroom concerns the development of intercultural communicative competence. The potential of elearning and web tools to facilitate this kind of learning has become of increased interest for language teachers. This book discusses the method of web collaboration and presents an e-learning approach which puts the focus on authentic and interactive intercultural language learning. The book Web Collaboration for Intercultural Language Learning draws on the research, experience and insights gained from the European project icEurope. It is meant as a guide for current and future language teachers who want to explore Moodle or other e-learning platforms and internet tools for web collaboration activities in their classrooms.
