This book is the second in a series of books that incorporate essays that focus on issues that are informing the work of the contemporary teacher. While broad in scope, the book provides the reader with a snap-shot of research endeavors that are informing teacher work. The book specifically examine issues that inform the changing nature of teacher work and explores issues that are impacting contemporary teacher work in the areas of literacy, numeracy and humanities teaching. The book is edited by Professor David Lynch and Professor Bruce Knight, two of Australia's foremost thinkers in teaching related matters.
