A a leading American origami artist who has been active with the art form since the 1970's. He has developed hundreds of designs, covering a wide range of subjects. These works have appeared in over fifty books that he has either authored or contributed to. Kirschenbaum's pieces have been shown in major origami exhibitions (including the American Museum of Natural History, The Smithsonian, Mingei International Museum, and Hangar-7), small and chic SoHo shows, and even a private exhibition at the prestigious National Arts Club.
