The Words You Were Looking For

An anthology of the finalist entries in the 2025 San Francisco Writers Foundation annual writing contests. The primary Writing Contest has categories of Adult Fiction, Adult Nonfiction, Kidlit, and Poetry. The secondary contest is for Microfiction. While the media bombards us with escalating intensity year after year, these writers have stepped away from the noise to see what is lovely about the world. And they've crafted words that can take us with them. These are always the kind of words we're looking for. Congratulations to all our finalists and winners.
