Daughter of My People

Set in rural South Carolina in the early 20th century, this is the story of the ties of land, blood and honour that threaten to destroy two families. At the centre of the story are two brothers, Hart and Tison, and their mixed-race cousin, Jennie, who one brother loves and the other dishonours.
