1937: When an ancient artefact is recovered from a river in Western Australia, a dangerous race begins. The object is from an unknown source, from an unknown technology - and it has links to the very roots of sorcery. To a small group of esoteric scholars, the artefact represents a revelation. To others - it may open the gates to unspeakable power.
