Description
The Indian pharmaceutical sector faces serious challenges such as unregulated drug sales, prescription fraud, counterfeit medicines, and the absence of a centralized patient health record system, leading to public health risks and lack of accountability. To address these issues, MedTrack is proposed as a secure, Aadhaar-based, KYC-enabled Electronic Health Record (EHR) system that assigns each user a unique Medical Track ID (MDT ID). Developed as a MERN stack web application, MedTrack enables a transparent, end-to-end digital prescription lifecycle for patients, doctors, and pharmacists, enhancing patient safety, ethical drug dispensation, and supporting the vision of a national digital health infrastructure.
