SAS - How Hard Can it Be?

"SAS: How Hard Can It Be?" charts the army career of Vinnie Keane - at one time regarded by the rest of the SAS as 'the fittest man in the British Army'. The book's title refers to the question he asked himself before every course, mission and training run he endured while he was in the forces. Upon becoming a member of the Special Forces unit, Keane continued to push himself beyond the limits of a normal human being while training. Then, after completing the Det Selection course for MI5, he was sent to Northern Ireland, where he went undercover.During his posting, he managed to get close enough to be photographed next to Gerry Adams, and he was the first SF soldier to infiltrate the notorious Falls Road pubs. Keane also worked undercover in Croatia and Bosnia, and he conducted missions in Iraq. Once he left the army, he then spent a number of years in private security in Baghdad, working as a bodyguard for one of America's most highly paid news anchormen, Richard Ingle, before setting up his own private security firm.
