Samir Mondal graduated in Physics M.Sc and Ph.D in Fiber and Integrated Optics from University of Calcutta, India. Since obtaining Ph.D., Dr. Mondal has more than 25 years of research experience in Photonics domain and worked in USA and Europe research universities besides his present Institute, CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation, Chandigarh, India. Dr. Mondal has also participated in various international programs such as BRICS, DAAD (Indo-German), CNRS (Indo-French) etc. Dr. Mondal has pioneering contribution on Micro/Nano optical element at optical fiber tip and exploring its exceptional optics. Past twelve years, He is working on optical fiber and instrumentation in the name of, optical antenna, optical imaging, optical nanoscopy, photonic nanojet etc. He also served as Associate editor to a couple photonics journals of international repute in addition to reviewing manuscripts from very reputed journals. He has more than 50 focussed publications and keeps delivering invited talk in national and international scientific forums.
Pooja Gupta is an expert in Axicon fabrication, application of Bessel beam in imaging and refractive index measurement. She has M.Tech in Electronics and Communication, and specialized in image processing and completed her Ph.D. on optical fiber Axicon optics in Bio-imaging. She was awarded a prestigious post-doctoral fellowship by ICMR, India. Currently, She is a research scientist in a multi-national imaging company, New-Delhi, India.
Kaushal Vairagi holds B. E degree in Electronics & Instrumentation from RGPV, Bhopal, and a M.tech in Instrumentation from DAVV, Indore, India. He has done Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences from CSIR-Central Scientific Instruments Organisation, Chandigarh, India in the field of Fiber Optic Instrumentation. He has done extensive research on fabrication of Axicons, Axicon optics theory and application. He was awarded with prestigious Research Associate fellowship from CSIR. Dr. Vairagi is currently faculty of a reputed University, LPU, India. He is an experimentalist.
Jasleen Kaur has M.Sc. degree in Physics and Ph.D. in Science. She was recommended for prestigious INSPER fellowship by DST, India. Dr. Kaur is specialized in the domain of optical Whispering gallery mode. She is expert in optical modelling and experiment. She is currently working in a National Research Laboratory, India.
