He is also the author of Frommer's Nova Scotia, New Brunswick & Prince Edward Island; Frommer's Maine Coast; and Vancouver & Victoria For Dummies, as well as a co-author of Frommer's Canada. He divides his time between New York, New England, and Asia.

Laura M. Reckford (chapters 7-8) is the editor of The Barnstable Enterprise newspaper in the town of Barnstable on Cape Cod. Formerly the managing editor of The Falmouth Enterprise and Cape Cod Life magazine, she has also been on the editorial staffs of Good Housekeeping magazine and Entertainment Weekly. She co-authored the first edition of France For Dummies.
