Marvin Karlins is the author of 19 books and over 200 articles that have appeared in various professional and popular journals. He received his Ph.D. in psychology from Princeton University and is currently Professor of Management in the School of Business at the University of South Florida. In addition to his writing and teaching, Professor Karlins has spent 20 years working as an international consultant in the fields of time/stress management, leadership, and commercial aircrew training. He currently lives in Riverview, Florida, with his wife of 25 years, Edy; his daughter, Amber (age 15 going on 25) and three cats of undefined age and pedigree. His interests include eating, dieting, and aging gracefully.
