Electric Mobility
Description
This book is an Open Access publication on the status quo of electric mobility. The automotive industry is undergoing a profound transformation. With e-mobility, vehicle and drive concepts are changing, and the battery becomes a central component. Power electronics, electric motors, and fuel cells also play a crucial role, reshaping the value chain. This work offers an overview of challenges and solutions-from product development to EV manufacturing, infrastructure, new business models, and sustainability.
How far back does electric mobility's history go? What systems can be found in electric vehicles, and how are they integrated? Which technical and legal framework applies? What is the state of infrastructure? Which new business models emerge along the electric vehicle value chain? And how sustainable is e-mobility? These and other questions are answered in the course of seven chapters, updated with the latest technological developments.
