Nowadays, in every field, automation is done with the help of computer vision, pattern recognition and machine learning. Pattern recognition has the ability to analyze the pattern and identify the objects. In proposed research system is divided into various modules, which were used to develop handwritten Marathi character recognition system that automatically converts scanned text document (i.e. image) into editable text. In this book we have described in details the system for handwritten Marathi character recognition domain. The various methods are explained to make this system fully functional, each module is explained in the respective chapters.
