Kuruvilla Joseph is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, India. His research areas include nanomaterials and nanocomposites, polymer blends and composites, synthesis of polymers from natural resources, green materials and biocomposites, aging and degradation, and development of biosensors.
Dr. Suryasarathi Bose is a Professor at the Department of Materials Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc). He completed his PhD from IIT Bombay in 2008 and did post-doctoral work at Katholieke University of Leuven, Belgium. He has received many awards and honors in his career and is an editorial board member for 'Nanoscale', 'Nanoscale Advances', 'Functional Composites Materials', 'IOP-Materials Research Xpress', and 'SPE Polymers'. He has published numerous articles in international reputed journals. Dr. Saritha Appukuttan earned her PhD from Mahatma Gandhi University, India, in 2012 in the area of polymer nanocomposites under the supervision of Prof. Kuruvilla Joseph. She is an experienced book editor and has several publications in international journals, including Composites Part A , Composites Part B, Materials Chemistry and Physics etc. Battula Durga Siva Deeraj is an active researcher in the field of multi-functional polymer composites working under the guidance of Prof. Kuruvilla Joseph. He completed his M. Tech in Materials Science and Technology and submitted his Ph.D thesis in April, 2022. He has co-authored several international peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters. His research areas include toughened epoxy composites, electrospun carbon fibers and EMI shielding materials. He is a vibrant researcher and peer reviewer for international prublishers.
