Description
A celebration of everyday, little acts of love with heartfelt illustrations from the talented Jane Massey.

A song, a hug, a helping hand
that lifts us up so we can stand.
Join Big and Small as they journey through the moments that make a relationship - from blowing bubbles in the bath, to saying 'sorry'. This charming picture book is the ideal gift for parents welcoming home a new baby or to share with a loved one on a special occasion. Perfect for fans of I'm Sticking with You by Smriti Halls and Steve Small, I Love You to the Moon and Back by Amelia Hepworth and Tim Warnes, and I Love You When You're Angry by Erin Winters and Kaitin Bucher.

Reviews / Votes
Clara (aged 3) and I enjoyed reading 'Love is in the Little Things' and talking about all the ways in which you can do kind things for different people . . . The characterful line drawings particularly appealed to both of us. Although the book is about love and the language very simple, the images convey a wide range of emotions and expressions. -- Books Up North Perfectly created for adults to read and share with little ones, Jones' gentle, rhythmic, reassuring narrative inspires expressions of love and emotion, all brought to life by Massey's stunning artwork in enchanting pastel shades. -- Pam Norfolk * Lancashire Post *More details

Stella J Jones lives in Yorkshire. She loves baked beans and chocolate (but not together) and building ramshackle bookcases for her far-too-big collection of picture books. On sunny days, you can find her practising yoga al fresco out on the Yorkshire Dales and on rainy days, tucked up on the sofa with her two guinea pigs, Pinky and Perky. Jane Massey studied graphic design at Kingston University. She worked for several design agencies in London and Hong Kong before concentrating on illustration. As well as producing numerous children's books, Jane has also created illustrations for advertising, greetings cards and packaging. Jane lives with her family by the sea in Hove.
