Identification Methods in Applied and Environmental Microbiology

This new volume in the Society for Applied Bacteriology Technical Series is based upon the Society's Demonstration Meeting held at the University of Bath, 1990. The text provides an up-to-date account of the methods used to characterize and thus identify and clarify a number of important bacterial genera. It is intended to meet the daily needs of the busy microbiologist working in a routine or research laboratory and all contributions to the volume come from workers actively engaged in the study of the organism covered within the text.
