Understanding Science:Light, Sound and Space

Understanding Science is a series of books designed to reinforce skills and knowledge at Key Stage 2 of the National Curriculum. Each book focuses on a particular science topic with explanations and teaching points, exercises, answers section and glossary of terms. Light, Sound and Space explores the intriguing science of light and sound and how you experience them through shadows, reflections, vibrations and music. The book also answers some tricky questions about the Earth, Sun and Moon and how they relate to one another, widening your understanding of our world and some of its neighbours in space. The Light, Sound and Space book includes: the sun and other light sources, shadows and reflections, sound and air vibration, movement of the Earth and Moon.
