Johnson was a teacher of history in schools for many years and has often
written plays and stories to help illuminate his pupils' understanding. He has
a particular interest in the sixteenth century. This is his third Robbie and Alice book - the first two
have been well received. He lives in Kent, is married and has two grown-up
daughters.
